Deepak is a tried and true veteran when is comes to crafting authentic indian food. Our commitment to safe and fresh foods.
Most would agree that fresh food is better for us. After all we are made up of what we eat. Freshness defines the flavor, aroma and texture of a dish. Respecting and understanding how foods are grown, harvested and stored makes a difference in the end product that is your meal.
Care and Respect
We receive regular shipments thru the week and prepare fresh foods daily. Food like fresh produce and meats can be maintained super fresh by how it is handled once it arrives at our restaurant. This knowledge has taken time to learn, with discipline and experience we have systemized how we handle our food. We treat fresh produce as if it was still alive. The way we store our fresh produce keeps it from spoiling quickly but also helps maintain the quality like crispness, color and smell.
Scratch Kitchen
Our menu is mostly composed of handmade, from scratch dishes that we are proud to serve you. We cook using basic ingredients ad blending our own flavors into each dish. The menu is vast and full of variety from Lamb, Chicken, Beef and Fish to our Vegetarian and Vegan dishes all are made fresh on location by hand. The Basmati Rice with its aromas of cinnamon, cumin and cardamom is prepared continuously thru the night and our variety of nans are cooked to order and taken straight to the table to preserve its hot and tender texture.
Food Safety
As chefs we understand where our potatoes, peppers and tomatoes come from. Fruits and vegetables are often grown in large operation farms that often use pesticide not to mention being exposed to an environment where there are insects and other animals that can reach the food. Fresh foods are also harvested with machines, handled by many different people before they are packaged for delivery. We take the threat of food-borne illness very seriously, that is why we carefully unpack each individual item checking it for damage or signs of spoilage, we also take great care when we hand wash and air drying our vegetables and fresh herbs. This provides a safe ready to eat item like our delicious salads and fresh garnishes.
